MLB's Angels name 71-year-old veteran former Washington, Texas manager as new manager [sports news]

Former Washington and Texas manager named new manager of MLB's Los Angeles Angels.

Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will hand the reins to 71-year-old veteran manager Ron Washington, formerly of the Texas Rangers.

The Angels announced on Monday (Sept. 9) that they have signed Washington to a two-year contract.

Washington is no stranger to Korean fans, having led the Rangers for eight years until 2014, the first year of Shin-soo Choo's seven-year contract with Texas.

Rangers general manager Perry Minasian worked with Washington when he was an assistant general manager with the Atlanta Braves.

After resigning as Texas manager in 2014 due to off-field personal issues, 카지노사이트랭크 Washington became the Oakland Athletics manager in 2015 and then the Atlanta third base coach from 2017 until this year.

Washington was recognized for his leadership after leading Texas to back-to-back World Series appearances in 2010 and 2011.

He excelled at coaching infielders and is known for his leadership and communication skills.
