It was his 13th consecutive full match, excluding the one in which he was ruled out due to injury.

Midway through the second half, Kane changed the course of the game.

MLB's Angels name 71-year-old veteran former Washington, Texas manager as new manager [sports news]

Former Washington and Texas manager named new manager of MLB's Los Angeles Angels.

Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will hand the reins to 71-year-old veteran manager Ron Washington, formerly of the Texas Rangers.

The Angels announced on Monday (Sept. 9) that they have signed Washington to a two-year contract.

Washington is no stranger to Korean fans, having led the Rangers for eight years until 2014, the first year of Shin-soo Choo's seven-year contract with Texas.

Rangers general manager Perry Minasian worked with Washington when he was an assistant general manager with the Atlanta Braves.
